RC-1 Will Retail Media Take Root in Japan? ~The Relationship Between Trade Marketing and Brand Marketing

We often hear the term “retail media” lately, but do we really know what that is? Will it affect my current job? Will it become more critical in the future? This session is for those who have questions like these and would like to learn more about retail media.
The session will first discuss the definition of retail media and the elements it includes. It will shed light on the market potential, growth, and challenges experienced in the US and Europe ahead of Japan and then will look at what is happening in Japan.
Our speakers, engaged in online and retail media as distributors and manufacturers, will openly discuss their feelings about what is currently happening and issues in Japan, the future of retail media in Japan, and what we should be thinking about now.
