Former professional soccer player. Upon graduating from Tokai University Shoyo High School, he joined the Urawa Red Diamonds in the J-League. After winning regular playing time, he became an indispensable player for the Urawa Reds until his retirement in the 2015 season. In 2006, when Osim took over the national team, he was selected for the national team and started his first game for Japan. Since then, he has been the only player to start every game for Osim's Japan team. Based on his own experience in conditioning as an athlete, he focused on the potential of intestinal bacteria and founded AuB, Inc. He founded AuB, Inc. with the goal of "bringing everyone to their best condition. Based on the results of his research on intestinal bacteria in athletes, he is now engaged in the health care, food health care, and food tech businesses. Currently, the company sells intestinal care products through its own e-commerce site, aub store (https://aubstore.com/). In February 2023, it launched aub for kids, a brand specializing in tummy care for children.
